Cloud Eye (CES) is one of the major infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) components that enables monitoring resources within the Open Cloud. It collects statistics, derived using monitoring metrics from different resources, to support real-time monitoring of resource changes. Alarm rules can be created, modified, deleted, enabled and disabled for these metrics on the management console. The configuration of alarm rules and notifications enables the status and performance of monitored service objects to be reported in real time, assisting in the prevention business impact caused by resource problems.
CES monitors metrics related to Elastic Cloud Server (ECS), Elastic Volume Service (EVS), Elastic Load Balancer (ELB), Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Auto Scaling (AS) and Relational Database Service (RDS).
