The HPC solution based on CCPS consists of three parts: computing node cluster subsystem, management subsystem, and OBS. The management subsystem consists of the task scheduling ECS and file sharing ECS.
Computing node cluster subsystem: Multiple ECSs constitute a high-performance computing node cluster that provides core computing resources for performing high-performance cluster computing tasks. You can determine the number and specifications of ECSs in the computing node cluster subsystem. The subsystem can accommodate thousands of ECSs.
Management subsystem: a virtual computer preinstalled with workflow management and editing functions and task scheduling functions. It is provided by Telefonica cloud computing platform based on the computing virtualization technology. You have the rights to perform tasks on a management node, including starting, stopping, and distributing computing tasks, and checking the distribution and running status of tasks.
- Task scheduling subsystem: a software subsystem deployed on the management node to schedule and monitor multiple computing nodes. It allows you to run function modules to distribute tasks and view task running status. Such tasks include starting, stopping, and distributing computing tasks, and viewing the distribution and running status of tasks and the usage of computing node resources.
- File sharing node: provides high disk I/O and high intranet bandwidth to ensure efficient data storage and obtaining.
OBS: an object-based massive storage service that persistently and reliably stores raw data and result data.
