A global company present in 28 countries across Europe, America and Africa. It is one of the top 25 chains in the world. With around 400 hotels and hundreds of restaurants.
The company had a complex set of IT and technology infrastructure and addressing it was considered a “critical mission” to achieve an appropriate and simplified ICT approach:
- Booking Call Center: Requirement to guarantee that there were no failures in the booking process through the call center
- Booking E-Commerce: Delivery of an e-commerce website for booking with the ability to manage extreme fluctuations in demand
- Finance and HR Management Applications management and hosting
- Employee and Corporate Website creation and hosting
Working together as one team and with the "critical mission" central to the strategy we implemented an Active-Active Solution for the "Critical Mission Applications". To guarantee that these applications never failed we utilised 2 Data Centers to achieve business continuity. Simultaneously we provided SAP (for finance, HR,…) in Active-Active configuration.
